While my digital transcription of my Lenten journey failed, suffice to say that there was a lot experienced.

I realized (sometimes the hard way) what was vital in my life and what was holding me back from fullness. Fasting and sacrifice, while opening me up to the harshness of temptation and the empty promises of earthly gratification, also strengthened my resolve and helped me starkly acknowledge what was ruining my connection with Him.

Those fourty days gave me hope, just like the Easter story has continued to do since it first happened.

Veni, vedi, vici. You came, You saw, You conquered. So I can only go up from here.
